yearbook updates
sorry for not updating, guys.
got the third draft. it's 99% done.
right now, i just have two major issues with the LayOut Artist:
1. nagulo yung pagkasunud-sunod ng pages sa likod (madali lang naman ayusin, isang click lang. hehehe... )
2. i don't know what the hell happened with the "batch 2001 web connect" page (aka batch directory). inayos ko na yun eh. ewan ko kung saan nya nilagay or anong ginawa nya. ipapaayos ko ulit. nweis, that's only one page.
but basically, everything's okay already.
and yes, the YEARBOOK COVER!

the artist gave me these sample pages earlier. just one look at it and i know you will all like it. i bet you guys haven't seen any CPT yearbook yet with this kind of individual page lay-out! whoa, tayo ang una! at ginagaya na ng Batch tooooot... *evil laugh*
*saw the blueprint of Batch tooot, mas maganda yung sa'tin. why? kasi ibang tao ang gumawa ng yearbook nila... walang personal touch of their batch! hahaha! wala lang.
nweis, tell me what you think about this lay-out guys? gusto nyo pa bang papalitan or GO na tayo dito? :)
the artist said that we can expect the 3rd draft already by next week. i'll feed you with updates again next week.

for third draft submission
mga walanghiya kayo!!! (LOL) hindi pa ako natutulog ngayon dahil sa yearbook na ito. haha!
anyways, i'm submitting the yearbook draft to the ARTISTtomorrow later at 10:30am. dugo, pawis at ganda ang binuwis ko ngayong gabi na ito para sa inyong lahat. si Joanne (Mangulabnan) kasi eh, pinagod ako sa pagdownload ng mga additional pictures nya. inisa-isa ko pa talaga. hahaha! peace, Joanne!
well, ganyan ko kayo kamahal!!! don't worry, guys, mabilis gumawa yung layout artist natin. kayang-kaya nya ito in 2 weeks. (why am i crossing my fingers???) balitaan ko kayo.

yrbook update
Updates:
1. Officially no grad pic on the yearbook- Peggy (we received a message from Peggy saying that it's okay with her if she doesn't have a gradpic), Roman and Luis (so far, we received no message from these two batchmates).
2. Yearbook message from the Faculty Administrators and Faculty - done! Whew!
3. Yearbook Cover - so far, Cover D is leading followed by Cover B. Disclaimer lang guys ha, I am asking you to vote for the Yearbook Cover so that I know what kind of design you like. However, the college and the layout artist will still have a say on the FINAL yearbook cover. I still have to check if kaya ba nung artist "gayahin" yung design na gusto natin. Again, guys, the yearbook cover voting is only there to help me with the kind of cover design that you guys like. I need your inputs kasi. Mahirap ang mag-isip mag-isa. Don't worry, I will make sure that the cover will be the BEST COVER that the college will ever have!!! Promise. Feeling ko gagayahin tayo ng lower batches after this. Weh, yabang noh?!
4. Batch Directory- Bocx and I are trying to get everyone's contact information. So far konti pa lang ang nagbibigay ng kanilang email addresses. Wala pa sa 1/4 ng buong batch (toink) so kung sino lang ang magbigay, sila lang ang ilalagay ko. Meron na akong naisip na STYLE for this batch directory considering na kulang kulang nga. Sana maappreciate nyo.

Also, I am also calling out any batchmate (who's still here in the Phils) who's willing to be a SIGNATORY (aside from Bocxxx) to sign the blueprint this December (in case, I'm not here). We need at least two signatories for the reproduction.

nov 1 updates
Hello batchmates!
We only have 3 missing grad pics left, that of Peggy (Guillermo), Luis (Gonzales) and Roman (Ramos). Bocx and I have exhausted all our energy already in trying to contact the three batchmates but to no avail. Kaya pasensyahan na lang tayo ok...
Right now, we are looking for an original copy of the PICC batch pictures. We don't need a scanned copy, we badly need the original copy.
I only have a week left to surrender these additional pictures to the artist. Remember, may target date ako na December 2009?! I really want to finish this yearbook before I join the rest of the batch there in the US. Oras na para magpayaman na ako, I feel that 6 years of serving the college is more than enough for me already. Oras na para mag-move on. Nakz.
Now regarding your queries about:
1. Baby Pics - yes, they are here with me. I want to return your baby pictures. If you want the original copy, please just ask someone to get it from the 5th Floor of Wang Bldg (CPT) and look for Ma'am Blessy or me. As an alternative, i will be uploading your baby pics here on this blog, facebook and multiply sites. Just be patient, iuupload ko lahat yan. Let me just inform everyone too that the baby pics that i will be uploading is already on BLACK and WHITE. colors were already altered because it was scanned and used for yearbook purposes.
2. 95% complete yearbook since 2007- Yes, it has been 95% complete since 2007. I could have asked the publisher to go ahead and print the yearbook already now but Bocx and I want to include more pictures and re-edit some parts because... SAYANG ANG BUDGET GUYS! anlaki ng budget for our yearbook so we want to maximize.
3. Naunahan na tayo ng other batches- HINDI TOTOO YAN! Dahil 2002, 2003 and 2004 lang ang merong yearbook after us. And Batch 1995, 2000, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 ay wala pa ding yearbook. Wag kayo mainggit sa kanila. Gagawin kong memorabilia ang yearbook na ito. Ganda, pawis at fats ang iaalay ko para sa inyo. Hahaha!
4. For batchmates already in the US- Bocx and I are trying to find a way so you guys can get your copy. Yun nga lang medyo magsheshell out kayo ng pera for international delivery. But well, we'll wait muna until the yearbook is out then I'll have someone from the college to fix this problem for us. Ok? Easy lang kayo.

Yrbk update
Yes! Bocx and I met at the Mall of Asia last October 28, 2009 for our loooong-overdue yearbook.

Update: We are currently working on the missing pages and trying to add more photos (both old and new), commenting on the color of the grad pic pages (yung iba kasi ay masyadong madilim so I'm requesting the artist to adjust the colors. i'm sure ayaw nyong magmukha kayong aparisyon sa page nyo! haha!). This second draft will be surrendered again to the artist on the first week of November so that they can work on the desired changes then we'll have the third draft for final review then December will be the final blueprint (for signature. oist, bocx, signatory ka na ha in case I'm no longer in Pinas!) then we'll have it released on the first quarter of 2010.
i know this has taken soooo long. i hope you guys will try to understand coz it is not easy working ALONE on this all these years. (i have my own work and life to deal with too, you know!) i was getting desperate last time that i asked Ronna (De Villar-Bayot) and Euzar (Balinas) to help me out with the proofreading.
kaya yung mga walang ibang ginawa kundi magreklamo dyan, please lang... =p
